1. Assist in the preparation of departmental budgets and allocation of funds based upon reviews of department estimates/recommendations, familiarity with operating procedures and cost/revenue projections. Review all department requests for capital expense items and submit same with recommendations to the Administrator.
2- Identify and assess problems that arise; investigate and direct inquiries and complaints to appropriate hospital staff members; and act as intermediary to hospital administration on behalf of patients and their families. Function as part of the mechanism for investigating patient care complaints that may involve the hospital or medical staff.
