· A bachelor’s degree in engineering.
· Good understanding of geotechnical behaviors for soil and bedrock.
· One year of HDD engineering design experience in one or more of the following project types: natural gas pipeline, facilities, liquids, transmission, gathering, midstream and treatment.
· Proficiency in some of the following areas: HDD feasibility, reporting, geotechnical investigations, soil borings/sampling, laboratory testing parameters, conceptual and detailed design, design and construction specifications, field workspace and logistical requirements, constructability, and construction inspection.
· Experience with Direct Pipe designs a plus.
· Develop geometry required for HDD plans and profiles
· Demonstrated ability to coordinate and work with multi-disciplinary teams; and, deal with complex issues and maintain effective working relationships.
· Good Experience in Performing construction monitoring during HDD construction.
