• Managing and supervising the Collection department.
• Proactively manage and collect debts from company debtors in a timely manner.
• Assessing and evaluating new credit requests and reviewing customers’ credit ratings
• Negotiating repayment plans, and re-negotiating if required.
• Recover outstanding debt and monitor age debt, in adherence to approved processes, procedures, and quality guidelines.
• Liaise with internal/external legal consultants to initiate necessary legal proceedings for debt recoveries.
• Identify risks associated with debtors and proactively take measures to mitigate such risks.
• Evaluating and analyzing the current market situation and developing collection strategies.
• Maintains excellent relationships with all customers, to ensure seamless collection of receivables and timely recovery of debts.
