Identify suppliers for sourcing materials and conduct effective supplier negotiations with clear outcomes.
Must have thorough product knowledge, market information and sourcing of products from the most suitable vendors at the most competitive prices.
Once order is approved, work extensively with the production team to identify requirements, fabrics, and logos and seek quotations from suppliers. (include in flow)
When implementing sourcing strategies, address cost, value and service expectations and deliver innovative products and solutions.
Ensure that the supplies and products received are subject to the agreed quality and in case of any deviations, take preventive and corrective action in discussion with vendors.
Arrange samples when required, for seeking approval from customers by sales team.
Analyze and evaluate requisition forms as assigned, to procure and ensure purchases meet requirements.
Once production is over, oversee printing of logos on garments, coveralls, etc.
