· Ensure that the contract drawings and specifications are properly implemented and complied on site by the contractor
· Ensure all relevant work instructions and company quality management system are being followed to all works that is being undertaken.
· Check and inspect the quality of work done by the contractor
· Assist the Engineer in reviewing the following shop drawings submitted by the contractor:
a. Lighting System
b. Power System
c. Fire Alarm
d. Structured Cabling
· Coordinate with the Project Manager and Construction Engineers regarding various construction and design issues including but not limited to changes in construction plans and specifications versus contract plans and specifications
· Assist the engineer in reviewing the material submittal documents and sample submittals
· Do other related works directed by the Project Manager
· Inspect materials delivered on site to make sure that the materials, equipment and devices delivered are in accordance with the project specifications
· Give instructions to contactors engineer and foreman for day to day activity and progress
· Prepare weekly progress report to be submitted to client
· Conduct site inspections submitted by contractor to make sure that the approved plans and/or shop drawings are being implemented on site
· Witness and conducted factory visit and test of electrical equipment prior to delivery at site
· Assist the engineer in reviewing the Test Report, Method of Statement and Risk Assessment.
· Conduct and witness testing with Contractors Engineer & Testing and Commissioning engineer, tests such as megger test, cold test and live test
