Project Manager - MEP

CONTRACTUAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Obtain, check and formalize MEP subcontract for the project with all the signatures from both the parties.

• On receiving final approved tender documents from Estimation Section, after opening job card check tender drawings with construction drawings issued by the Main Contractor as well as the B.O.Q. and specifications for any discrepancy in quantity, specifications, etc. Any discrepancy should be brought immediately to the notice of the departmental head.

• Prepare MEP program based on Civil Contractors Program through the Planning Manager.

• Get the respective Engineers to prepare Material Submittal Schedule and Drawing Submittal Schedule as per MEP program and submit to the Main Contractor for approval. Make sure all submittals are given to Main Contractor for MEP Works as per scheduled dates without delay.

• Make sure that all the MEP works follow the progress of civil works at site and no complaints arise from Main Contractor/Client/Consultant.

• Submission of Authorities Drawings and full responsibility for getting DEWA / Civil Defense / JAFZA / Dubai Municipality / Etisalat & any other Government Authorities approval for respective MEP works in the project, well ahead of schedule without any delay and necessary formats to be maintained for this purpose.

• Liaise with Consultants for approval of MEP works done at site and prepare necessary inspection requests, RFIs and site memos.

• Delay of works due to Civil works, or by any other Agency to be established with proper correspondence
