To ensure accuracy, the contractor must check the elevations, setting out, and the remainder of the survey work.
Inform the resident engineer and make recommendations on building surveys.
Keep construction surveys and quantity records in accordance with RE guidelines.
As ordered by the RE, conduct the initial baseline and control surveys, including the construction of benchmarks and the recovery of any existing survey monuments to be removed at the commencement of the project.
Respond to the contractor's survey request, including reviewing the contractor's setting up of centerlines, structures, slope stakes, and so on.
Examine the field measurement surveys, including the original and final cross-sections.
