We are seeking an experienced and motivated Data Architect to join our team and help us in our cloud journey. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based data architectures, driving innovation, and providing strategic direction for our organization's data initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain the data architecture roadmap for our cloud journey
· Design and implement cloud-based data architectures and solutions
· Define data integration and migration strategies to move data to the cloud
· Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and data integration needs
· Develop and maintain data models, schemas and metadata in the cloud environment
· Provide technical leadership to the data team in designing and implementing cloud-based data solutions
· Ensure data security, privacy and compliance in the cloud environment
· Monitor and optimize data performance in the cloud environment
· Provide guidance and support to the data team on cloud technologies and best practices
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
· 7+ years of experience in data architecture and cloud technologies
· Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform
· Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration techniques
· Experience in implementing data solutions using cloud-based technologies such as AWS Redshift, Snowflake or Azure Synapse
· Experience in designing and implementing data architectures in a cloud environment
· Familiarity with data governance concepts and practices
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
BONUS POINTS FOR HAVING:
· Hands on experience in implementing frameworks such as GDPR or CCPA
