Engineer | Process Control System

Our client, world’s most advanced and most sustainable chemical companies based in Saudi Arabia, with operations in over 50 countries with a global workforce, requires a ENGINEER To predict the instrumentation and process control system failures and proactively address through effective surveillance and equipment strategy, and to ensure the integrity and reliability of the process automation and control systems

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Qualifications: (Degree, training, or certification required):

- University degree in Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering.
- Additional requirements Spoken English - Fluent, Written English - Fluent.


Minimum Experience: (Technical, functional, and/or leadership experience required):

- Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in Technical role in plant maintenance/ Reliability Department / Support Services / Engineering role in a similar industry.
- Ideally would have experience in DRI plants / Steel making / Rolling mills.

- Leadership skills.

- Analytical skill.
- SAP/Meridium and MS office skills.
- Presentation skill.


SCOPE:

- Maintain safety incident rate to be zero
- Report EHSS observations & incidents
- Conduct EHSS audits.
- Company KPIs compliance wherever applicable.
- On time Completion for all agreed technical and administrative tasks
- Provide technical support to Plant maintenance teams as last line of defense.
- Evaluation of Instruments & Control System performance and develop recommendations
- Familiarized with SCADA and HMI operation and PLC troubleshooting
- Conduct protection coordination for SIEMENS and ABB relays
- Completion of Asset Life Assessment and maintain reports.
- Participate in Asset Integrity & Reliability audits and develop gap closure plans.
- Conduct RL1 & RL2 Asset Integrity Assessments.
- Participate in RCA / RCM.
- Participate in risk assessment studies.
- Provide assistance for projects cycle.
- Participate in Bad Actor Management and Performance Killers.
- Prepare value added technical reports for analyses or investigations.
- Provide in-house training on Instruments / Control Systems / OMS Standards.
- Prepare EHSS & Technical Presentations, success cases etc.
