Performs technical duties involving the preventive maintenance and repair of electro-medical, mechanical-medical equipment, and medical and surgical instruments. Essential Responsibilities and Duties
Repairs electro-medical and mechanical equipment and instruments.
Inspects and performs electrical safety checks of electro-medical equipment.
Performs scheduled preventive maintenance for assigned medical equipment and instruments.
Performs repairs and PM on other medical equipment, as requested.
Assists Clinical Engineering staff as required.
Fabricates mechanical parts as required.
Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.
Participates in self and others education, training & development, as applicable.
