Fabrication Manager

Required Fabrication Shop Planner/Production Planner.
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
-Ability to read and understand engineering drawings. This includes items such as drawing projection, bills of materials, tolerances and welding symbols.
-Reviewing the fabrication package upon receipt for general constructability. Contact the issuer of the package for clarification as require.
-The ability to utilize Oracle,Primavera software for planning
production jobs. This includes the set-up and preparation of job travellers for the direction shop floor production.
-Check required materials, hardware and parts against current on hand inventory.
-The ability to accurately prepare orders in a timely manner for any required commercial parts, hardware or raw materials for purchasing.
-The ability to develop a production schedule and plan labor & equipment resources.
-Identify any potential labor resource or manufacturing equipment workflow bottlenecks.
-Follow job/project’s progress through production to assure that the schedule, quantity and deliverable match the order. If any issues are identified contact the appropriate resources for resolution
