•Welcoming patients and visitors, answering the telephone and answering any inquiries
•Patient registration as per the prescribed process and protocols
•Scheduling appointments and keeping those appointments on time.
•Assisting patients with completing necessary forms and documentation.
•Ensure cleanliness of the working unit and supervise ancillary staff as required
•Foster a conducive environment to work for all team members
•Anticipate, recognize and manage emergency & unsafe situations & initiate appropriate & timely interventions
•Obtain permissions & approvals from concerned departments like finance & insurance when necessary
•Ensure that infection control and waste management protocols are followed
•Handing over and taking charge of the shift
•Keeping the consultation room, and treatment room clean and tidy
•Promote a safe environment for patients, visitors, and co-workers including the implementation of infection control policies in the hospital
Give and receive lab and medical reports
•Billing of services and cash collection during/after the patient journey
