Our client based in Abu Dhabi is looking a Solution Architect for it firm.
The purpose of this role is to analyze, design, develop, and maintain optimal IT solutions to business problems, considering current as well as future systems and integrations with focus on employing the best technology stack and applications portfolio. In this role, the role holder is also responsible for adhering to and preserving enterprise architecture framework, and for coordinating and aligning with relevant teams to reach the most viable and feasible solution.
Operational Responsibilities:
Create and lead the process of integrating IT systems to meet the business’ requirements in an agile delivery environment
Conduct a system architecture evaluation and collaborate with project management and software development teams to improve the architecture
Drive the establishment of an IT architecture practice and define an architecture and standards methodology/procedure/process to ensure solution delivery
Work with the business, software engineers and project managers to determine optimal solution approaches
Evaluate benefits and risks in the use of required third party frameworks or platforms
Design and document solutions from business, security and technology perspective
Demonstrate expertise in REST based microservices and container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker
Adopt best software development and engineering practices including CI / CD & DevOps
Identify, design and implement seamless integration opportunities with partners and ecosystem entities
Manages activities that take place during solution ideation, solution design and solution implementation
Support the creation of solution RFIs, RFPs and prototypes, and actively take part in the technology selection and technical evaluation processes
Ensure solutions not only are a fit for the specific business need but also closely align with the standards and guidelines of technology solutions
Evaluate solution constraints to find alternatives, alleviate risks, and perform process re-engineering if required
