Head of Sales

We need a candidate who has experience selling chemical fertilizers/fertilizers.

Role and Responsibilities:
Manage the Sales and Business development activities to build-up and grow the fertilizing business of RNZ group which includes: RNZ International FZE, RNZ Agrotech Industries Ltd. & RNZ Newtech.

In line with this role, you will be expected to fulfill the following assignments:

1. Be responsible for the entire Sales process lifecycle from CRM to contract signatures, Account Management, Business Development and Client portfolio renewal.

2. Define and implement MEASA distribution sales and acquisition strategies.

3. Lead projections, analysis and growing performance for the MEASA region.

4. Maintain and develop an excellent network and relationship in the fertilizing business with a focus on local retailers with the team.

5. Manage and develop the regional team of Sales Managers, Upcountry Sales Executives & Sales Admin team to optimize and create an excellent service, and to maximize distribution satisfaction of clients in the MEASA region.

6. Initiate and close complex Supply and distribution deals with clients covering aspects such as legal, financial, marketing & Communication components.

7. Ensure constant client satisfaction in terms of service distribution, marketing and business development strategy and activity.

8. Support in the hiring of the local sales staff in the selected countries and allocation of territories.

9. Define and plan the sales targets quarterly and annually in line with the business goals for the entire team of MEASA.

10. Ensure that targets are delivered through management, performance reviews and rewards.

11. Design and implement Sales activities on short-term and long-term projects including launch of new sales initiatives, industry & market segmentation.

12. Partner with cross-functional leaders across the MEASA region, including Product, Marketing, Strategy, and Sales Systems to drive greater strategic alignment and operationalize activities that optimize revenue generation.

13. Direct and coordinate the financial and budget activities to increase efficiency in all sales tooling and processes, including contract review and sales system workflows.

14. Create, revise, and implement policies that have direct & indirect revenue impact through sales.

15. Set up the credit line and norms to follow with regards to credit policies.

16. Create internal sales incentive schemes and policies based on revenue actualization.

17. Assess the strengths and weaknesses of the sales team and manage the sales team accordingly.

18. Set-up operational processes for smooth Sales Admin coordination and monitor quality checks through a proper system.

19. Define a standardized Sales process for RNZ leveraging on Global standards. Utilize Business intelligence to analyze the business develop activities.

20. Offer Sales guidance to local Salespeople in the country.
