Training Officer

- Identify training and development needs within an organization through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with department /Division heads and human resources departments
- Develop annual colleague development plans and prepare monthly reports and submit the same to the Learning Development Manager/ HR Manager.
- Consult with the Learning & Development Manager/ HR Manager for the co-ordination of colleague development courses
- Conduct colleague orientation to the company and hotel and ensure that all colleagues receive appropriate orientation
- Consider the costs of planned programs and keep within budgets
- Plan and assess the 'return on investment' or Training Evaluation of any training a development program
- Must actively overlook and support the Buddy Trainers (Department Trainers)
- Develop effective induction programs for new staff, apprentices and graduate trainees
- Monitor and review the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with managers
- Devise individual learning plans
- Produce training materials for in-house courses and Training topics
- Create and/or deliver a range of e-learning packages
- Manage the delivery of training and development programs
- Ensure that statutory training requirements are met
- Evaluate training and development programs
