We are currently looking for an Senior Events Associate with B2B / corporate events experience to join our team in Dubai
The Opportunity:
Oliver Wyman is looking for an Events Planner to lead events (client and internal) in the IMEA region. This role is based in Dubai and will be responsible for developing strategic events plans to deepen engagement across the IMEA community and support business objectives.
The Events Planner will share responsibilities between managing events for the Dubai market, and play a critical junior coordinator role in supporting the delivery of OE / 8works collaborative engagements.
Key Responsibilities as Events Planner will be:
IMEA Events - Managing the schedule of events (virtual and in-person) in the region through working with wider teams and committees including Marketing, Talent Management and Practices on key meetings and events as required.
Event Design and Production - Preparing creative event concepts and coordinating logistics, including venue sourcing, accommodation and travel, invitation and registration, event communication, F&B and event, in collaboration with wider internal teams such as IT and Design.
Delivery Support - Resourcing of specialist contractors, venue liaison, and managing contractor accommodation and travel on 8work events.
Supplier Management - Building and managing local supplier/contactor network across multiple services from proposal stage through to contract negotiation. Monitor service levels and manage kit inventory.
Working with the wider Global Events Team on projects and flagship firm events (virtual and face to face events) such as the Global Partner Meeting.
Who we are looking for -
You'll have a minimum of 3+ years of B2B corporate event planning experience in the MEA region
High proficiency with at Microsoft software and Zoom Meetings is essential - further proficiency with in Cvent desirable
You'll be educated to at least Bachelor's Degree level
