Be the primary procurement interface between all internal customers
Identify solutions for improvement in the procurement function through process analysis and determine areas of potential improvement in terms of efficiency, costs, and inflow/outflow of materials
Supervise and plan all activities that relate to inventory sourcing
Strategy, analysis and reporting: Support in executing the procurement strategy including spend analysis, industry benchmarks, and transformation objectives to deliver optimized purchasing and hard cost savings
Negotiate pricing for raw materials; researching and tracking raw materials. Update all pricing and reporting pricing changes Work with the estimation & production departments to ensure that the procurement is properly aligned with the expectations and addressing the project requirements
Investigate and report any issues in the purchasing process and execute necessary improvements to enhance business performance
Manage and verify resolution of any delivery discrepancies and necessary approvals and documentation
Coordinate with production & projects personnel to maintain appropriate inventories considering pricing and deliverability
