Job Overview
Ensures the smooth operation and upkeep of the household, the House Supervisor serves as the direct contact between the Property General Manager and the Residents, representing the direct interests of the Residents to facilitate their comfort, privacy, and ease of daily activities. The House Supervisor is responsible for supporting the residents’ daily requirements as well as ensuring the housekeeping aspects of the property are maintained to the standards set.
Role and Responsibilities
Maintain the utmost confidentiality and discretion when handling business affairs
Be in direct communication with the residents and adhere to their requests
Learn the preferences and habits of each family member and be aware of any upcoming plans and events (informing the PGM of any special requests and coordinating together with the PGM on any dates and celebrations) and/or travel requirements
Assists in managing daily schedules of the Residents – appointments, visits and attend any special/ adhoc requests that may arise
Manages the daily work of housekeepers, drivers and cook
Prepares weekly schedules for housekeepers and drivers, maintaining records of days off, public holidays, vacations, and sick leave to ensure appropriate manning is always applied to support the needs of the operation
Perform performance evaluations of relevant team members, to achieve optimum performance executing corrective actions where applicable to handle any shortfalls, in coordination with the Property General Manager
