JOB DESCRIPTION -TRIAL COORDINATOR
We are looking for a trial coordinator, essentially, who will be responsible to manage research studies and trials & coordinate experiments and research related to the projects assigned. Typically working under the direction of a Senior Project in-charge. They also oversee practices as regard the design, length and other details of the research study. Coordinators schedule tests and experiments, make sure samples get to labs as necessary, watch over the study's data collection process and file the necessary reports regarding the study's progress. Additional requirements: • Responsible for ensuring the study is in compliance with local rules and regulations. • Creates and/or maintains all documents and records related to the study • Acts as a point of reference for study participants by answering questions and keeping them informed on the study progress • Manages the inventory of equipment and supplies related to the study and orders more as needed • Attends meetings, events and seminars in order to promote the study • Collects specimens and inputs data and patient information into electronic systems • Creates reports on each study, including notes on protocols, workload, data collection, and more Finalizing the Study Once the research trial is complete, the trial coordinator is generally responsible for collecting the final data and making sure the reports contain the information as required by various research. Qualifications: Trial coordinators must have great communication skills, they must be thorough and observant, have a strong understanding of research practices and understand the medical products they are being tasked with testing.
