To promote good working practices and maintain high production values at all times, for all Academy academic training, productions and related events.
Adhere to Health and Safety at Work regulations and procedures while ensuring that personnel and students also adhere to safe working practices.
Co-operate and communicate effectively with all Academy staff, students and production team members.
Be proactive and have a positive attitude to problem solving.
Respond to varying workloads, manage tasks and time efficiently.
Undertake any relevant training and development that may be required.
Undertake Duty Technician responsibilities when required.
Assist with routine maintenance of the equipment and building.
Carry out periodic tests and inspections of technical equipment, including fault diagnosis and repair.
Assist in the Scenic Construction and Painting Workshops with basic tasks if required.
Assist with keeping records of maintenance work and stock checks, ensuring that stock levels are appropriate and monitored.
To liaise with the Production Manager and/or Senior Technicians of in-house and external productions regarding their requirements.
To set-up, program and operate lighting, sound, AV and staging for Academy and external productions as required. Attend meetings as required.
