SOC Analyst Specific Skills
• Experience in using, configuring and tuning SIEM such as Logrhythm, Splunk, Archsight, Qradar
• Knowledge about OS including Windows, Linux, MacOS and SQL,C,C++,C#, Python, Perl, Java programming languages
• TCP/IP routing, switching concepts, IDS/IPS, firewall and detection/prevention method and protocols
• Strong knowledge in windows, Linux, network security events, proxy logs, etc..
• Regularly monitoring on the user activity, network events, and from other log sources
• Investigate all suspicious activities, identify the root cause of the attack and implement required security actions and restore the system operations
• Familiar with VAPT tools which are not limited to kali Linux, Nessus/tenable, Nexpose, Metasploit and how it works
• Packet reverse engineering and bypassing techniques
• Perform threat intelligent research and ability to understand and run Sandbox Static Analysis
• Malware Artifacts and IOC's collaborative platforms such as MISP, CRITs, or equivalent sleuth kit or equivalent
