Generates manufacturing drawings by interpreting 3D designs and validating the written or verbal specifications received from the Design & Project Engineers. The job incumbent also analyze assembly model to generate accurate assembly drawings for field installation.
-Analyze design specifications to determine procedures, instructions and calculations to be followed
-Create detailed technical drawings, charts and records using CADD systems
-Determine dimensions and requirements of materials
-Assist engineers in the design and development of customized products
-Make changes to technical drafts based on the recommendations of the design and project engineers
-Identify and communicate potential design problems to the rest of the team to initiate quick resolution
-Coordinate with Supplier and Quality team for design inspection to ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards
