To ensure the achievement of NMDC's projects commercial objectives by sourcing the most suitable economical major suppliers/ subcontractors.
Preparation of Bidder's list from the vendors management system and/or in conjunction with the relevant department
Prepares contractual and commercial aspects of procurement of subcontractors and major suppliers, in conjunction with the relevant department
Lead in the preparation of tender documents and tender process for subcontractors and majors suppliers as required by the relevant department including the understanding and incorporation of technical requirements.
Perform due diligence of Subcontractor and major suppliers
Leads the subsequent priced commercial and technical evaluation of offers and lead the discussions and negotiations with the successful bidder.
Prepares a comprehensive technical and commercial evaluation report and subsequently a recommendation report in conjunction with the relevant department.
Develop and implement robust and effective policies, processes, procedures and systems to support the operational effectiveness of NMDC in relation to procurement
