General Description of Role and Responsibilities:
Responsible for assisting the management in implementing an HSE Management System and enhancing safety culture across the client portfolio.
Assist management in developing procedures complimenting HSE Management System.
Review ‘Permit to Work’ applications, Method Statement and Risk Assessments, including all necessary procedures ensuring Safe Operations.
Conduct HSE Audits, site Inspections of facilities and reports.
Supervise Safety contractors to ensure performance and operational readiness of HSE Critical Systems and Equipment.
Oversee Safety Induction and other training for employees and contractors. Investigate and Report Incidents.
Develop HSE process and procedures and supervise the implementation.
Monitor and control FM service providers compliance with contractual and client HSE requirements.
Monitor and control building construction site compliance with contractual and client HSE requirements.
Provide evidence of any non-compliance and manage escalation process.
Liaise with client’s senior management teams and provide advice as required.
Preparation of Various HSE reports and Ad hoc reporting as per the client requirement.
Review the current HSE process and identify the areas for improvement.
Investigate and Report Incidents, Accidents and Near-misses to Management.
Review Job Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessments of High-Risk work activities like lifting, confined space works, excavation, hot works etc.
Informs themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures in place within Hill International, and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.
Ensuring that quality and environmental plans are in place and being observed by all Hill’s project team and client’s contractors.
Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.
