Amazon is looking for a motivated individual for the profile of Program Manager, Standards, Benchmarking and Audit for its Last Mile (LM) operations team. Key Responsibilities include
.Lead process standardization projects across the LM sites
.Drive excellence programs and create global benchmarks
.Defining, implementing, measuring and improving standard work processes that will drive customer experience and performance improvement within our delivery station network.
.Influencing business-critical decisions that enable scale and deliver consistent, industry leading, performance within our operations.
.Lead an audit mechanism to ensure that work standards are being adhered to across the LM sites
To be successful in this role you will need to be an influencer capable of working effectively with senior leadership across multiple organizations. You will also need to be a self-starter, proven program leader, diligent project leader, communicator, and problem solver with strong analytical skills. You will work with cross-functional teams on complex logistics problems, deal with ambiguity and advocate on behalf of the customer.
Basic qualifications:
. A degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Operations/Logistics/Supply Chain, or other technical field from an accredited university
. 3+ years Operations/Logistics and/or Continuous Improvement Experience
. Background in Logistics, Supply Chain or Manufacturing Operations
. Knowledge and understanding of Lean principles and toolkit
. Willingness to travel as necessary, up to 30%
Preferred qualifications
. Master's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Logistics & Supply Chain
. Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt certification
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
. A degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Operations/Logistics/Supply Chain, or other technical field from an accredited university
. 5+ years Operations/Logistics and/or Continuous Improvement Experience
. Background in Logistics, Supply Chain or Manufacturing Operations
. Knowledge and understanding of Lean principles and toolkit
. Proficient with MS Excel
. Willingness to travel as necessary, up to 40%
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
. Master's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Logistics & Supply Chain
. Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt certification
