Marine Modeler - Center for Environment and Water, Research Institute King Fahd University of Petrol
We seek an experienced full-time Marine Modeler to work in the Research Institute, Center for Environment and Water (King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals) based at Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
Job Responsibility
The candidate will be responsible for assisting in the performance of a wide range of projects including hydrodynamic modeling, wave & tide modelling, sediment dispersion modelling, oil spill modeling, drill-cutting dispersion modeling etc.

Qualifications
1. A doctoral degree in Physical Oceanography/ Engineering, Hydraulics, Water Resources or Hydrology is required.
2. Three to five years of research experience in modeling after completing the Ph.D.
3. Strong general computer skills including at least one programming language.
4. A good track record in handling projects independently.
5. Publishing record in peer-reviewed journals.
6. Good command of English in both writing and speaking with good presentation skills.
7. Technical report writing skills.
8. Knowledge in the application of modern modeling software packages.
