Research Scientist/Engineer – Air Quality Engineer/Scientist, Center for Environment and Water, Rese
The Center for Environment and Water in the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Dhahran, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, invites applications for a Faculty position specializing in Air quality. The incumbent will conduct ambient air monitoring activities including collection of environmental samples, and documentation of physical, and chemical measurements by established procedures and perform air quality modeling analyses using standard regulatory air quality models.
The successful candidate will assist in evaluation of new monitoring equipment, and the set-up of new air monitoring locations, and will participate in data collection for a variety of ambient air pollutants including impacts from onshore industries and offshore drilling platforms. The selected candidate will participate in teams writing reports describing the results of monitoring evaluations or pollution assessments.

Applicants must have a Doctoral degree in atmospheric sciences/meteorology or related degree. The incumbent must have experience of 4-5 years of direct consulting experience in the air quality or atmospheric science field.
