As Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for defined work or projects with moderate complexity. You will follow an individual work plan, meet day-to-day short-term objectives, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Designing tooling/fixtures, procurement coordination and validation of designs.
Developing manufacturing (machining) processes for New Product Introduction (NPI).
Documenting process changes, driving process / fixture improvements, and cycle time improvements, cost of poor quality (CoPQ), and EHS Actions.
Participating in LEAN initiative, and engage Six Sigma tools for process improvements.
Preparing and releasing work instructions detailing critical machining operations.
Supporting all aspects of pre-production and post-launch production through to project close out.
Influencing design to ensure new designs are optimised for manufacture, performance, yield and cost
Owning the Radiation processes for manufacturing.
