You will be managing customer opportunities from day one, in collaboration with your virtual team, and be expected to build and sustain a pipeline of business across customer accounts. By the end of your first 12 months at VMware you should have established a significant presence and impact with both your customers and the colleagues with whom you work
The Work: What type of work will you be doing What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis
You will work with the Enterprise Account Managers in Saudi Arabia and support them in selling Security solutions leveraging established account presence and relationships. You will develop and execute a clear account strategy for major accounts and opportunities. It will be important to establish and manage relationships with key decision makers (typically at CIO and CSO level) and key channel partners such as Resellers, Incident Response firms and MSSPs. Working cooperatively with Marketing to drive demand generation programs and drive engagement of target prospects. As part of your tasks, . Internally, you will work closely with the Solution Engineering team to manage demonstration and evaluation activities.

The hiring manager for this role is Jean-Charles Labbat, Regional Sales Director Security, SEMEA. He leads a team of Security Sales Specialists across SEMEA supported by a team of Solutions Engineers. This team covers all of South Europe, the Middle East, Turkey and North Africa region and VMware enterprise and global customers. In this team we all learn from each other: best practice sharing is the way to improve and be successful.
Where is the role located
Flexible: The role is considered flexible and will be a mix of working from a local VMware office and remote depending on your preferences and the arrangements determined with your future manager. You will be expected to live within a reasonable non-daily commute of the office.
