Department Description:
Market Treasury Credit Risk is a Group Risk function independent of all business units The unit focuses on identification measurement monitoring reporting and overall management of market counterparty credit risk The unit has direct ownership and responsibility for a large local bank and its international branches in Singapore London Mumbai and Riyadh Additionally the unit provides governance oversight assistance and consultation for market and counterparty credit risk matters to risk and business stakeholders at group subsidiary entities
Brief Description:
The job holder is responsible for monitoring and control of counterparty credit and market risk exposures of the bank The job holder is expected to have competence in programming for various tools implemented within the unit for control and reporting purposes

Job Requirements:
Strong ongoing engagement with key stakeholders to get a good understanding of priorities and to address concerns on all sides
Manage escalations and take corrective actions to resolve issues in a timely manner
Enhancementmaintenance of daily credit market Risk Limit Monitoring Reports
Escalation of any Risk LimitPolicy deviations
Reconciliationchecking of trades across systems Ensure turnaround times integrity and accuracy are maintained on all requests
Appropriate logging of creditmarket limit excesses and reporting of creditmarket risk process issues to Operational Risk on a periodic basis
Creating periodic portfolio review packs with relevant data inputs for senior management
Design test cases for projects undertaken by Treasury from a risk perspective and ensure comprehensive execution of test cases and defect loggingmaintenance
Escalation of any systemdata issues impacting production and followup for resolution
Execution of the regulatory capital reporting at periodic intervals Supporting adhoc capital runs as requested by the CBUAE
Support regulatory requirements and enhancing efficiency and accuracy of the market risk capital reporting process
