1 Accountabilities To implement and continuously improve the safety management system at MAS MRO's in accordance with the ICAO annex 19 and airbus policies and procedures.To ensure the safety maintenance activities reach the levels specified by the regulations approved by the competent authorities and when reached by the customers. To reinforce the safety system to the levels specified by the regulations and the companystandard (SMS management).
2 Main activities
Develop and maintain procedures for an effective safety management within the organization and manage the Safety documentation.Facilitate, coordinate, control and monitor activities related to SMS.Present periodic reports on the efficiency of the SMS.Ensure safety communication within the organization.Perform and coordinate hazards identification and Safety Risk Analysis.Develop and maintain safety culture within the organization and provide adequate training.Guarantee the initiation and followup of the internal investigations of events / accidents.Ensure that actions / mitigation plans are defined in response to the safety management.Organize Safety reviews with appropriate safety representatives and managers.To coordinate with the HO safety for continuous development of safety systems at ASL MiA levelTo support the control and follow-up of discrepancies and corrective actions of the maintenance activitiesSupport the QM in reporting to national civilian and military competent airworthiness authorities on AMO SMS performance and support the AMO SMS qualification and approval revalidation audits.To support the aircraft handover during the schedule maintenanceEnsure the link between ASL MAS, Product, and Flight Safety on any Military Air SystemsSafety Initiative as well as establish synergies of collaboration with other SMS MAS Awareness of SMS topics to the MRO staff
