The job:
We have a great opportunity for you to grow your career as a Sr Key Account Manager for Thermo Fisher Scientific within our Corporate function. The role is based in Saudi Arabia, where you will be leading a selected list of key accounts across Academia, Industry, Biotechnology, Healthcare and Diagnostics to represent a One Thermo Fisher.
The role will interact with the key accounts across these segments to improve the company's overall business relationship by demonstrating the Thermo Fisher Scientific value proposition via cross-divisional collaboration to develop partnerships and meet annual operating plan, market share growth and customer allegiance to positively impact account revenue.
This role offers a truly outstanding opportunity to work closely with the full suite of Thermo Fisher Scientific products and capabilities, developing partnership solution for our customers who rely on them every day in the pursuit of their own missions and visions.
Previous sales or business development experience of analytical or life science instrumentation is an advantage, however, we are open to considering applications from candidates with experience using relevant instrumentation in a laboratory environment who are considering a change in career direction.
This is a field based role, with a territory covering all of Saudi Arabia. You will be on the road, travelling within your territory c.3 days per week, with the remaining time spent working from home. Some overnight stays will be required. Candidates must be based in Saudi Arabia, ideally close to a major city and transport links.
What will you do

Translating deep customer insights into meaningful partnership opportunities that deliver value to both our customers and Thermo Fisher. You will be driving overall account strategy, improving our breadth and depth of capabilities to build high-impact, innovative, science- and customer-centric solutions
Negotiate with knowledge and translate customer insights into partnership opportunities that will deliver value to both customer and Thermo Fisher Scientific
Develop strong relationships between Thermo Fisher and strategic partners and act as a primary interface to lead governance activities, opportunity identification and resolution of critical issues
Conduct periodic reviews with strategic key accounts and cross divisional teams to ensure alignment of strategy and collaboration between customer and Thermo Fisher Scientific as defined in the Partnership Account Plan
Communicate internally via Account Management Team and Monthly Business Reviews on the account landscape, and relationship sensitivities to enhance diversity of spend
