Engineer | Cranes (Saudi Arabia)

JOB PURPOSE:

Carries out and provides professional and technical expertise electrical installations related to equipments.
Assist in the inspection programme of all loose lifting equipment in use within HADEED
To work diligently in the performance of his duties, following and without violating any HADEED or SABIC rules and regulations.
Seek improvements through new technology adoption.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

The following are the key accountabilities for which only this role is accountable, indicating the percentage (%) of time spent:
10% - Designing and carrying out modifications to the running plant and equipment.
10% - Designing and carrying out electrical requirements in plant projects
15% - Carrying out alterations to drawings and documentation in co-operation with Engineering & Projects drawing office
25% - Liaison with the Planning to interject practical electrical requirements into the formulation of engineering plans for the plants, liaising as necessary with the mechanical and operational areas.
10% - To assist in the control of the centralized loose lifting equipment within HADEED.
10% - Follow up on daily work progress report and provide technical assistance and explanation on the cases when required.
​10% - Build self-studying and learning in all subjects related to his work.
​10% - To comply fully with HADEED SABIC EHSS & Quality Policies.


Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Qualifications: (Degree, training, or certification required): Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering .

Minimum Experience: (Technical, functional, and/or leadership experience required): Minimum 5 years experiences working with Equipment.

Job Specific Skills: (Key functional, leadership, or business skills required):
Spoken and written English Fluent.
Very Good computer Knowledge, able to work with Windows, MS office applications, SAP system etc.

Competencies: (Key functional, leadership, or business competencies required).

Physical Effort (in terms of physical requirement): Shall have no physical handicaps, a good level of physical fitness for climbing and must be free from Vertigo

Work Environment (in terms of exposure to office & plant working conditions):
The duties are approximately 50% on site and 50% in the office and workshop environments.
The time at site will be spent in various non-favorable environments such as but not limited to Steel plant, Rolling mills, billet bays, Slab bays, etc., where extreme temperatures and abnormally high humidity will be the norm.
At times dust, smoke and flame radiation will also be encountered.
