• Model and analyze new hydraulic pump concepts for automatic transmissions
• Work with customers and generate layout diagrams and schematics to meet their needs
• Develop/lead work plans and projects that take into account, cost, manufacturing, function and customer satisfaction
• Interface with plant based modeling team to analyze new design concepts
• Perform design optimization studies
• Execute internal/external tests and validation activities
• Support the definition of critical features for the product design throughout product development stages
• Organize and generate bills of material
• Performs tasks including but not limited to cutting and crimping of hose lines, disassembly of systems, plumbing hydraulic and pneumatic systems as directed, installation of related components as directed
• Assemble, install, remove, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical hydraulic, Marine Hydraulics and pneumatic mobile equipment components
