Provide welding technical support during regular operation and turnarounds through troubleshooting of welding related problems.
Review welding procedures to ensure the correct welding parameters and testing are specified (ex. Voltage, amperage, heat input, metallographic examinations, and other testing as applicable).
Analyze the engineering design packages for welding requirements.
Utilize welding experience in order to improve the welding repair procedures proposed by facilities.
Manage and specify requirements for welder procedure qualifications.
Qualify new welding procedures to help with repairs if required.
Implement best-in-class solutions pertaining to welding activities, as foreseen by international standards and other internal company standards.
Propose ideas, or technological improvement, or maintenance strategies implementation, in order to support the company vision of continuous improvement throughout collaboration and people conversation
