- The Operations Manager role is mainly to implement the right processes and practices across the organization. The specific duties of an Operations Manager include formulating strategy, improving performance, procuring material and resources and securing compliance.Heavy equipment manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of heavy equipment and other machinery. Should manage a team of operators who drive cranes, bulldozers, excavators, forklifts, etc.Heavy equipment managers must ensure that their equipment is well maintained and ready to go at all times.
