Attending initial sales meetings and meeting the client.
Determining a client’s business requirements and whether the products being considered are suitable.
Decide whether the software or hardware needs adapting to meet the client’s needs.
Answering any technical questions, the client might have.
Presenting your findings to a technical team to act on, and then to the client.
Responsible for selling a sub-set of technology solutions and services.
Have experience in communications systems by installing, operating, and maintaining voice and data IT & telecommunications network circuits and equipment.
Contributes to the achievement of a solution/business unit target.
Has a good understanding of the relevant market.
Lead strategic account planning for major accounts where in depth knowledge of a solution and telecom set, including competitive offerings affect the long term objectives and strategy.
Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, and attending trade shows and conferences.
Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs and explain how specific products and services can meet these needs.
Help customers select products to meet customers’ needs, product specifications, and regulations.
Emphasize product features that will meet customers’ needs, and exhibit the capabilities and limitations of their products.
Answer customers’ questions about the prices, availability, and uses of the products they are selling.
Negotiate prices and terms of sales and service agreements.
Prepare sales contracts and submit orders for processing.
Follow up with customers to make sure that they are satisfied with their purchases and to answer any questions or concerns they might have.
