The sales manager is responsible for developing sales strategies, achieving organizational goals and revenue growth, as well as preparing the tactics and action plans required to be implemented successfully for these strategies. It also includes setting annual goals, building relationships with customers, understanding customer trends, and the job needs to understand best practices in the field of sales and a good understanding of the target market and opportunities available.
Job Duties of the Sales Manager:
• Supervising and managing the sales department to ensure that the required goals are periodically achieved.
• Develop and implement the strategic plan to achieve sales goals and expand the customer base.
• Participate in building relationships with customers and maintain the provision of services that help gain customer satisfaction.
• Communicate with clients to understand their business needs and objectives.
• Effective communication, continuous evaluation and making suggestions and promotions.
• Good understanding of the nature of markets and identification of available sales opportunities.
• Preparing appropriate budgets and sales methods to achieve the best results.
