Sales Team Leader : Freight Forwarding & Logistics

Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sales Team Leader to join our Freight Forwarding company. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in logistics sales, business development, and customer relationship management with a proven ability to lead and achieve sales targets.
Requirements
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Freight Forwarding Sales.
• Strong knowledge of:
o Sea Freight Services.
o Air Freight Services.
o Import & Export Operations.
o Freight Pricing & Market Rates.
• Proven experience in team management and achieving sales targets.
• Strong client portfolio and market knowledge is preferred.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to generate new business opportunities.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills.
• Very good command of English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Job Responsibilities
• Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to achieve company targets.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
• Identify and generate new business opportunities in freight forwarding and logistics services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Conduct regular client visits and sales meetings.
• Prepare competitive quotations and pricing offers in coordination with the pricing and operations teams.
• Negotiate contracts and service agreements with customers.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
• Follow up on sales leads and ensure timely customer response.
• Coordinate closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis for management.
• Train and support sales team members to improve performance and productivity.
• Ensure achievement of monthly and annual sales KPIs.
• Handle key accounts and maintain long-term business relationships.
