About the Position:
This position “General Accountant” is full time employment, with good salary for the right candidate. Working Location will be in Alexandria.

His responsibilities:

• Monitor and implement all accounts payable check activation and wire transactions.

• Assist departments in the accounting reconciliation process on monthly basis.

• Monitor the authorised account reconciliation process.

• Administer all bank transactions and oversee data recording procedures monthly.

• Provide support to auxiliary schedules for auditing purposes as per assigned work.

• Analyse different general ledger accounts regularly.

• Develop budgetary plans for processes as per requirement.

• Prepare journal entries and synthesise common ledger for subsidiary accounts.

• Collate bank statements on monthly basis.

• Design and prepare audit schedules for external audit processors.

• Provide support to the safekeeping of internal expenses in the company.

• Manage and maintain finance-related programs and documents inclusive of future plans and programs.

• Develop and formulate all reports and deliver presentation projects for repeated usage.

• Evaluate current methods and processes inclusive of up-gradation of process development.

• Complies and analyse financial information to prepare entries to accounts such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions.

• Install, modify documents and coordinates the implementation of the accounting system and accounting control procedures.

• Responsible for monthly analysis of AP, supplier’s down payments, petty cash notes payable and prepaid expenses.

• Responsible for issuing checks on the due date.

• Prepares checks, accounts statements, reports and other records and reviews for accuracy.

• Responsible for cost centre allocation
• Responsible for transfer accounts payable and general ledger module.

Reporting to Accounting Manager.

Desirable skills:

Excellent communication skills.
Excellent top notch Accounting and analysis skills
Successful applicants must have:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
Experience with creating financial statements , general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process.
Good Writing & Speaking English.
